               These               2008               National               Champions               are               red-hot,               and               so               will               be               the               2009               season               for               the               Florida               Gators.

Majority               of               players               return               for               the               2009               season,               leaving               nothing               to               chance               for               the               season               ahead.

28th               home               game               against               arch-rivals               Florida               State               and               October               10th               away               game               against               LSU               in               Baton               Rouge.

I               predict               a               big               win               for               the               Gators               at               home               against               Florida               State               Panthers,               but               nothing               but               trouble               in               the               Bayou.
               Oklahoma               Sooners

               In               2009,               once               again,               Oklahoma               will               tear               up               the               field               as               it               has               for               115               seasons.

I               predict               a               big               win               against               fellow               Okies,               but               a               rough               ride               in               J.R.

Nick               Sabin               is               ready               to               go               and               so               is               his               team,               the               Crimson               Tide.

Home               game,               season               opener               on               September               5th               against               formidable               Virginia               Tech,               and               November               11th               against               LSU               in               Tuscaloosa.

I               predict               Tech               may               pull               off               the               big               upset               against               Crimson               Tide,               but               'Bama               will               win               big               against               Conference               rival               LSU.

September               12th               against               USC               in               Columbus,               and               November               21               against               Michigan.

I               predict               close               matches               and               even               odds               to               win               for               both               games               for               Ohio               State's               formidable               Buckeyes.

I               predict               that               the               game               will               be               close               and               evenly               matched               against               Ohio               State,               but               USC               may               have               the               edge               against               UCLA               in               November.

I               predict               Penn               State               will               win               handily               against               these               tough               conference               rivals.

2009               will               continue               to               see               the               team               struggle,               especially               the               defensive               line.

Coach               Paul               Johnson               already               predicts               that               Virginia               Tech               is               the               team               to               beat               in               the               ACC.

I               predict               that               the               Yellow               Jackets               will               fall               to               Virginia               Tech               in               a               cliffhanger               at               home,               and               rise               again               for               a               big               victory               against               in-state               rival               Georgia.

A               media               favorite               in               the               2008               season,               the               Hokies               show               a               lot               of               heart               on               the               playing               field               and               on               any               given               week,               they               play               to               win.

November               14th               against               the               Maryland               Terps               in               College               Park,               and               November               28th               against               Virginia               in               Charlottesville.

These               games               are               great               in-conference               rivalries               and               it's               almost               impossible               to               predict               the               outcomes.

But,               the               Hokies               may               have               an               edge               against               Virginia               in               what               promises               to               be               a               great               post-Thanksgiving               holiday               dust               up.
